We were happy to participate again this year in the registration process for the 29th Congress of the Israeli Society for Quality in Medicine.
In light of the events of October 7th, the central theme of this year’s congress was “Quality in Emergency Routine in the Healthcare System. ” As in previous years, the congress addressed key topics related to quality and patient safety in healthcare in Israel, both in hospitals and the community, with the participation of multidisciplinary teams from healthcare organizations.
Two of our unique systems were used during the congress, in addition to the registration form, entrance control, and name tag printing through Forms-Wizard. We would like to tell you a bit about them.
Abstract Collection and Review
This year, we launched Abstract-Wizard, a system that provides a comprehensive solution for managing abstracts, from their submission by the participants to their final evaluation by a dedicated reviewing panel.
At the 29th Congress of the Israeli Society for Quality in Medicine, nearly 1,000 abstracts were submitted through a special form created for abstract collection in the weeks leading up to the congress itself.
The abstracts were then passed on for professional review by a panel of reviewers, which included dozens of experts and evaluators. It’s important to note that the review process was anonymous, ensuring that the submitters’ identities were concealed from the judges to avoid conflicts of interest.
Poster Presentation
The abstract collection and review process led to the selection of about 300 outstanding abstracts, which were presented as posters during the congress with the help of Poster-Wizard.
Our poster presentation platform allows participants to view posters interactively and independently, with options for free browsing, searching for specific posters, or filtering posters by categories.
As you can see in the photos, poster presenters stood next to their posters throughout the day, presenting their research verbally to visitors—adding an exciting layer to the poster presentation experience.
The Congress poster system is still available for viewing on the Congress website, allowing visitors who were unable to explore the posters in depth during the Congress to continue reviewing them at their convenience.
