The 15th Conference for Building and Infrastructure of the Israeli Association of Construction & Infrastructure Engineer started this morning at Expo Tel Aviv. Over the next two days, thousands of people are expected to participate in engaging lectures and panels on topics such as projects, construction, engineering and maintenance, soil and foundation, infrastructure and bridges, traffic and transportation, regulation and law, sustainable design, and many others.
In addition, the conference includes an exhibition with dozens of companies showcasing the best technology and innovations in the building and infrastructure field.
This is not our first time participating in the conference, and we wanted to share with you how our systems are being used within the event.
Registration Form
A registration form was created for the conference, which allowed participants to choose their days of attendance and the type of ticket based on different categories. Participation in the conference included purchasing a ticket, and the form was linked to a credit card payment gateway for the convenience of registrants. Additionally, discount codes were provided for guests whose participation was free or discounted.
Sending Barcodes for Fast Entry via SMS
The evening before the conference, all participants received SMS messages containing personal barcodes, which they were required to present for a fast check-in upon arrival.
The barcodes were sent just before the start of the conference to ensure they were available to participants first thing in the morning.
Access Control and Name Tags
As mentioned earlier, the conference took place over two days, and registrants chose when they wished to attend: the first day, the second day, or both days. Forms-Wizard’s smart access control helps distinguish between registrants and only allows entry to those who registered for the appropriate day.
The access control and name tag printing system by Forms-Wizard was also used at both attendant stations and self-registration kiosks, allowing participants to check in themselves, saving time and avoiding lines.
Lead Gathering
At the exhibition of the 15th Building and Infrastructure Conference, dozens of companies are participating. To help them operate efficiently during the exhibition, our lead-gathering platform was used.
The lead platform enables exhibitors to scan the participants’ name tags and receive a summary of their contact details, based on the information they provided during registration.
The system is designed to assist exhibitors who experience high volumes of visitors throughout the day and need to collect contact information under challenging conditions, such as dark lighting, problematic acoustics, and time constraints.
In previous conferences, many leads were scanned during the conference, and we expect successful lead-gathering in this conference as well.
